New NPM staff

In January and February, three new staff members joined the National Preventive Mechanism. They have different vocational backgrounds and contribute new, valuable expertise to the preventive work.

The new staff members are:

  • Jonina Hermannsdottir. She has a master’s degree in Criminology and comes from a position as senior adviser in the Ministry for Local Government and Modernisation.
  • Mette Jansen Wannerstedt. She has a master’s degree in Sociology and comes from a position as senior adviser in the Norwegian Directorate of Health.
  • Aina Holmén. She is a psychologist and comes from a position as researcher at Akershus University Hospital.

In addition the NPM consists of:

  • Helga Fastrup Ervik, head of the NPM, lawyer
  • Johannes Flisnes Nilsen, adviser, lawyer
  • Caroline Klæth Eriksen, adviser, social scientist
